About the Panel Discussion
The most important changes within the realm of workforce global evolution into four main categories: technology, workplace environment, employee satisfaction, and employee wellness. As per McKinsey, the pandemic accelerated the existing trends in remote work, e-commerce, and automation, with up to 25% more workforce than estimated needing to change occupation. The workforce became increasingly urban, with agricultural jobs declining steadily and technology jobs increasing. Globally, many young people are struggling to find gainful employment. Skills training is critical to prepare them for the workforce, particularly in five key sectors. These include tourism and hospitality; the care economy, which includes health care, childcare and eldercare; creative industries such as fashion, design, handicraft, and visual and musical arts; water, sanitation and hygiene); and digital information, communication and technology. This panel will discuss shift in global workforce, changes facing it and how companies need to react to these changes.
